Fashion Event Dotek 2026: Fragments of Fashion, Stories and Emotion Arrive This March

This March, the city of Zlín will once again transform into a hub of creativity, education and meaningful connection. The 14th edition of Fashion Event Dotek will take place on March 20–21, 2026, at the Svit complex, offering a two-day program that brings together emerging designers, fashion professionals and the wider public.

This year’s theme, “Fragments,” explores the idea that beauty and strength are shaped through individual pieces — stories, experiences and emotions that come together to form a larger whole. Diversity of perspective and personal vision will define the atmosphere of the entire event, from fashion collections to the accompanying program.

The event opens on Friday with a special opening in collaboration with Harper’s BAZAAR at Building 76. Saturday’s highlight will be the traditional fashion show featuring young designers, alongside a charity auction, expert workshops and panel discussions with professionals from fashion, PR and creative production. Workshops will offer practical insight into the contemporary fashion industry — from art direction and event production to influencer marketing and fashion film creation. The weekend will culminate in an afterparty with a music program and DJ sets, an essential part of the Dotek experience.

Fashion Event Dotek is a non-profit student project by the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The event also carries a strong charitable mission, with proceeds from selected activities supporting the Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer.

Once again, Fashion Event Dotek proves that fashion can be more than aesthetics — it can be a dialogue, a community and a platform for real stories.
