How We Set the Mood — Scents, Objects and Care for Everyday Life

Beauty & Lifestyle Notes

This edit brings together beauty, fragrance and design objects that have a clear role in everyday life. Some shape the atmosphere of a space, others support rest, skin comfort or simple daily routines, while a few function as thoughtful, well-considered gifts. What connects them is not category or trend, but practical use — how naturally they fit into daily environments and habits.

You will find fragrances for skin and home, textiles and light as part of domestic comfort, tools for low-effort yet effective skincare, and objects that also work on an emotional level. Each piece offers a tangible effect — improving the mood of a room, supporting calm and focus, enhancing sleep quality or making everyday rituals feel more intentional.

Textile Lampshade Bonbon 380 Ice Cream

Colour, light and atmosphere

The Bonbon textile lampshade is a strong visual element that works with both colour and light. Hand-woven coloured yarns stretched over a steel frame create a distinctive surface while softening and warming the light in the room. The result is a more relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with a subtle playful edge.

The Bonbon lampshades were designed for HAY by Serbian designer and artist Anna Kraš, drawing on the style of her drawings and personal visual language. Each piece is handwoven using a unique technique, making every lampshade slightly different. Beyond their primary function, they work equally well as standalone decorative objects.

Oraculum — ARABESQUE Incense Sticks

Scent as part of the home’s rhythm

Oraculum approaches fragrance as a way to shape atmosphere rather than dominate it. ARABESQUE incense sticks bring structure and calm into a space through a carefully balanced composition.

Carrot seed introduces a soft spicy note, complemented by fig and iris.

Cedarwood and sandalwood ground the scent, while tonka bean and ambrette add warmth and smoothness. The result is a fragrance that settles into the background, quietly supporting moments of rest, focus or reflection.

Swarovski — Charming Love

A gesture that goes beyond romance

Valentine’s Day is increasingly seen as a moment to acknowledge all meaningful relationships — not only romantic ones. Friendship, closeness and long-term emotional bonds deserve their own symbols.

The Charming Love collection by Swarovski reflects this shift through playful motifs of hearts, locks and Cupid’s arrows. The Matrix Tennis Necklace with a soft pink accent works naturally as a gift for a best friend — a simple reminder of shared time, trust and mutual support.

A piece that carries emotion without needing explanation.

Chloé — Atelier des Fleurs: Les Essences Méditerranéennes

Scent as memory, not illustration

With Atelier des Fleurs, Chloé translates its fashion DNA into fragrance — intuition, lightness and freedom. The Les Essences Méditerranéennes collection draws inspiration from the sensory memory of the Mediterranean rather than its imagery.

These scents capture moments in between: sun-warmed pine needles, dry air, resin, shifting light. Sous les Pins evokes a quiet walk beneath pine trees on the island of Porquerolles — aromatic, warm and serene. Like Chloé’s iconic pleated silhouettes, the fragrances move with air and skin, never static, never heavy.

MARIELI — New Showroom in Karlín

Choosing bedding with your hands, not just your eyes

Bedding is something you live with every day — and the best way to choose it is by touch. Feeling the fabric, its weight and softness, often says more than any description. MARIELI now offers this experience through the opening of its first showroom in Prague’s Karlín district.

Designed by Atelier Monday, the space feels calm and considered, inspired by boutique hospitality rather than retail. Known for refined bedroom and bathroom textiles, MARIELI treats sleep as a daily practice, not a given. The showroom invites visitors to slow down, explore materials in person and choose intuitively.

Pigmentarium Pink Bubble Incense Holder

A functional object with its own presence

The Pink Bubble incense holder is a porcelain object designed and produced for Pigmentarium by designer and educator Daniel Piršč as part of the Bon Voyage incense collection.

More than a functional accessory, it stands as an independent design piece.

The porcelain is shaped in an unexpected, contemporary form that brings a sense of order and calm into the interior. Even without incense, the object retains its visual strength and works as a subtle focal point on a shelf, table or altar-like surface.
Ideal for those who see fragrance as a ritual and appreciate when its tools carry equal aesthetic value.

Price: 2,290 CZK
