Autumn will belong to art and design. Where should you be?
Summer festivals may be coming to an end, but culture certainly isn’t falling asleep. A new season is arriving, one defined by courage, light, and style. Iconic festivals will showcase fresh faces in design, light installations will brighten the streets, and galleries will open their doors to exclusive collections. This autumn is not about melancholy, but about inspiration with drive and a taste for breaking the rules. You can be sure your autumn will be anything but boring!
Czech Design Week (September 11–14, 2025)
For a few days, Prague will transform into a palette of inspiration – from the functionalist Exhibition Hall Mánes to the baroque Clam-Gallas Palace, where design, students, and brands come together. “New Generation” will present a curated selection of the youngest authors from the Czech and Slovak scene, who are already shaping the future of local design. This selection will be complemented by two solo exhibitions: glass artist František Jungvirt and multidisciplinary artist Pavlína Šváchová. A highlight of this year’s edition is the involvement of the legendary Café Slavia, which will be transformed into a vibrant exhibition space for design objects and installations during the festival.
