Reformer Pilates in Prague: Where to Find the City’s Chicest Studios

Pilates – and everything that comes with it – has recently taken over the internet. From the return to mindful movement and slow, controlled workouts that target deep muscles, to the full lifestyle vibe of matching activewear sets and a matcha latte afterwards, the pilates aesthetic is everywhere. Luckily, Prague is keeping up with the trend. The city has seen a rise in studios dedicated to Reformer Pilates, and we’ve rounded up the ones you need to know about.

Reformer X

Jungmannovo square Prague

The very first reformer studio I visited, and honestly, a personal favorite. You’ll find it right on Jungmann Square – just head past the açai and bubble tea bar, walk upstairs, and you’re there. Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, the studio is bathed in natural light (at least when the Prague sun decides to show up).

“It’s like my baby,” says founder and instructor Karolína. The studio is relatively new, but it already has ambitious plans: a second location is opening at Masaryčka in March, with the goal of eventually having three across Prague. Will it stop at three? Time will tell.

Each class comes with water, optional special grip socks, and most importantly, a professional approach. With pilates, technique is everything – correct engagement of muscles ensures you leave feeling stronger and aligned, not with an aching back. Besides single classes, Reformer X offers packages that not only save money but also give you access to their community perks – think brunches, floral workshops, and a like-minded group of new friends.

Pilateez Studio

Senovážné nám. 6 Prague

A hot new addition to the Prague fitness scene – and when I say hot, I mean possibly the most beautiful pilates studio I’ve ever seen. The interiors alone are enough to make you want to come back, and yes, you can grab a coffee before or after your session.

One of the co-owners told me she discovered pilates through horseback riding – her trainer suggested it to correct posture, and she’s been hooked ever since. I love how everyone has a different story about what brought them to pilates; it’s not just about the aesthetic.

I trained with Bára, whose thoughtful guidance made the class approachable even for a beginner like me. She broke down the basics step by step – posture, muscle engagement, breathing – everything you need if you’re stepping onto a reformer for the first time.

GLOW Studio

Jeremenkova 763/88 Prague

Looking for a women-only space? GLOW is the place. Beyond reformer, they offer mat pilates, barre, and yoga – a well-rounded schedule that has built a loyal following. Because they’ve been around longer, their classes often book out quickly. For beginners, that can mean less one-on-one attention, but it also speaks to the studio’s popularity.

The best part? GLOW is more budget-friendly. Classes here are on average €8–10 cheaper than at other reformer studios in the city. And yes, they also sell those stylish workout sets that make pilates feel like a full lifestyle moment.

The Pilates Room Prague

Jičínská 6, Prague

Their tagline promises you’ll feel “at home” here – and they mean it. If you’re looking for the most mindful approach to pilates in Prague, this is your spot. Forget trends; this studio is all about tradition and depth. Movement that heals the body from the inside out. Don’t expect to rush through flashy routines – if you’re not ready for a certain exercise, you won’t be pushed into it. With years of experience behind them, The Pilates Room offers reformer, mat pilates, and even wall-unit classes, all taught with precision and care.

So, which studio will you reform at first?

Whether you’re drawn to a strong sense of community, stunning interiors, a women-focused space, or a deeply mindful practice, Prague’s reformer pilates scene has something for everyone. This isn’t just a fleeting trend – it’s a way to improve posture, build deep strength, and slow down in the middle of a busy city. And yes, that matcha latte afterwards? Consider it the cherry on top.
