The Royal Affair Campaign Look

For this campaign, I wanted to create a fresh, youthful look that wouldn't take away from the beautiful jewellery Du Coeur and hair products The Royal Affair. The first look was very simple - I focused on creating a flawless complexion and a kissable, plump lip using my trusted favorites.

The Royal Affair

The Royal Affair was designed differently than most hair care companies out there. That’s because the products were not created to be commercialized at first.

TRA came as a result of Neli Zovko’s insatiable obsession to find a no-fluff hair care solution to restore and nurture her own sensitive and “untamable” hair.

After a decade researching, studying, and testing nature’s finest ingredients around the globe, it’s in Morocco that Neli fell in love with the incredible benefits of Henna – flower that became a central part in Neli’s hair’s healing and gave birth to The Royal Affair.

Sophisticated yet conscious, our line of products is the result of true hair care mastery carefully formulated in one of the most advanced cosmetic labs.

The difference between our products and other brands’ (besides not using toxic components) is the high percentage of active ingredients in them, making The Royal Affair a must-have self-care ritual for the pickiest women on Earth.

To get the perfect canvas for this look, I started by priming the face with Weleda Skin Food, which not only helps to prep the skin but also gives it a beautiful glow from within. For targeted coverage, I used Lisa Eldridge Flawless Skin Foundation, and then added a touch of YSL All Hours Concealer under the eyes to lift any shadows.

To add structure and shape to the face, I used the Westman Atelier Contour Stick in the beautiful shade Biscuit. This contour stick is perfect for creating a natural-looking contour that adds depth and dimension to the face without looking overdone. For the lips and cheeks, I opted for Lisa Eldridge's Luxurious Lucent Lipstick in Atomic Cherry, which I applied in a thin layer as a lip stain. To shape up the lips, I lightly applied Lisa Eldridge's Fawn Lip Pencil, because it’s a perfect shade to create a natural looking lip.

The second look incorporated a bit more color, using a splash of pink and purple on the inner corner of the eye to tie together the colour mood of The Royal Affair packaging and complement the model's features. To finish off the look, I added a glossy texture to the eyes, which paired beautifully with the wet-looking hair and for that I used my all time favourite  MAC cosmetics Lipgloss , this product never fails. To complete the look, I used YSL's Lash Clash Mascara in brown, which is absolutely amazing and really added depth and definition to the eyes. Overall, I think this look turned out beautifully - it's simple, airy, and impactful, with just the right level of flirtatiousness for a Valentine's Day campaign.

By using these high-quality products, including Weleda Skin Food, Lisa Eldridge Flawless Skin Foundation and Luxurious Lucent Lipstick, and YSL's Lash Clash Mascara, we were able to achieve a flawless and fresh look that complemented the jewelry and hair products perfectly. I'm always a firm believer that simplicity is key to achieving a stunning makeup look. The right balance between coverage and color placement can elevate any look.

Remember, when creating any makeup look, it's important to have fun and embrace your unique style. Whether you're going for something bold or subtle, the right products can make all the difference. So go ahead, experiment with different makeup looks, and don't forget to share your favorites with the world!
