Where to Grab a Glass in Prague? MAGPAPER Has You Covered

Summer is back in the city, and with it those golden evenings when the streets smell like food, wine, and good vibes. Whether you’re in the mood for a laid-back night with your bestie, a romantic date, or just you, a good book, and something delicious in your glass, Prague has plenty of spots to choose from.

But… where to go so it’s not just “let’s grab some wine”? Where the place itself pulls you in with its vibe, delights you with its taste, and maybe, just maybe, convinces you to have that second (or third) glass? Here are four spots we think are totally worth it.

The Sip

Francouzská 147/20, Prague

“Your fav natural wine bar” – that’s what they proudly say in their Instagram bio, and honestly, it’s not just talk. The Sip opened its doors in January this year and has quickly become a favourite among natural wine lovers. You’ll find bottles from vineyards like Plenér, Porta Bohemica, and Jaroslav Osička, plus a few small bites to pair with your glass.

The interior is clean and minimalist, bathed in warm lighting (none of that harsh blue LED, thank you very much!). Bottles displayed around the space double as decoration – not by accident, since natural winemakers often care just as much about label design as they do about what’s inside. They’re open daily, but trust us, you’ll want to book ahead to make sure you get a spot. And no, it’s not the kind of place where you stop at just one glass.

ENOTECA

Laubova 1, Jiřího z Poděbrad & Karlínské náměstí 235, Karlín

“Wine & dine” – a motto that sums up their whole vibe perfectly. ENOTECA already has two locations in Prague, and honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised if a third is on the way. They specialise in natural wines from Italy, paired with authentic Italian dishes.

Start your night with a glass, follow it up with a plate of olives, a cheese selection, or just dive straight into spaghetti. Here, food and wine go hand in hand – and it’s a combo you’ll want to linger over. If you believe wine is best enjoyed with food, this is your place.

Winegeek

Řezáčkovo náměstí 2

“Organic wines full of stories. Just good wine only.” Winegeek isn’t your typical wine bar – it’s primarily a wine shop, but one that knows how to host you for a quick glass too. It’s the perfect spot to grab a great bottle for a balcony evening or a picnic in the park.

They also have an online store, so even if you’re not in Prague, you can get your hands on their selection. They’re open Monday–Friday, 2pm–8pm, so weekend shopping is off the table. But if you do stop by, you can sip a glass “standing up” – and if you’re lucky, you might snag one of their cosy windowsill spots with a view of the street.

Dany’s Wine Bar

Náplavní 5

“Good people, good food, good wine” – and they mean it. Dany’s Wine Bar only opened in May 2024, but they’ve already built a loyal crowd. The street outside is often buzzing with people, which is always a good sign – places with heart tend to attract energy.

They’re open Wednesday–Saturday, so make sure you plan ahead. Beyond their carefully selected wines – both local and international – the charm here lies in the atmosphere and personal touch. And if you’re thinking about hosting a little pop-up event, drop them a message – they’re always open to those kinds of ideas.
